The National Institute of Open Schooling has declared the results for Class XII on Wednesday. Students can check their results on the official website: nios.ac.in .

National Institute of Open School was formed by the Ministry of Human Resources Development in 1989 with an aim to cater to the needs of the diverse group of learners. The institute aims to provide education to its students who are going to appear for the 10th class through open schooling. In 1986, the National Policy on Education felt the need of strengthening the Open School System so as to extend open learning facilities in a phased manner at the secondary and the higher secondary levels all over the country in an independent manner with its curriculum and examination leading to certification
